Everyone does Community Service at New Albion.

All colonists are required to perform

a regular amount of "Community Service".

Community Service ranges from activity similar to

Earth's "National Service"
- training with New Albion's Defence Force -

to roles such as assisting
colonists in need of additional support,

and assisting with maintaining the
fabric and environment of New Albion.

The requirement to perform Community Service starts

after primary school, with less onerous tasks such as

fruit-picking, social visits, and ecological surveys.

Training is provided ahead of starting a new form of service.

Sometimes the training itself is Community Service, when it

aren't in short supply at New Albion.
