- 00:36
- As in the United Kingdom on Earth, age is
- a protected characteristic under
- 00:41
- New Albion's Equality law.
- 00:44
- There is no 'retirement age' at New Albion: it
- is not permissible to end an employment
- 00:50
- contract on the basis of employee age.
- 00:54
- Employees may voluntarilty end contracts at any
- time, subject to contractual obligations
- 01:01
- such as notice periods.
- 01:05
- Employers should include in their contracts
- performance metrics compatible with
- 01:09
- Equality law by which they may vary employment.
- 01:14
- Performance metrics should be reviewed on
- a regular basis,
- 01:17
- at intervals of no less than three months.
- 01:21
- Reviews should qualify employees for
- enhancement of contract as well as diminution.
- 01:29
- New Albion Community Service tasks may also
- require performance metrics to be met.
- 01:35
- A regular Physical Performance Review is itself
- a Community Service task which employers can
- 01:41
- refer to as part of their review.
- 01:45
- The Physical Performance Review is
- mostly about physical health and
- 01:49
- forms part of your medical history.
