The New Albion Health Service offers free health care to colonists, similar to the United Kingdom's NHS.

00:50: many adjunct roles are part-time, temporary,; or available as community service tasks.
00:58: Every Compartment has a comprehensive first; aid locker in its emergency shelter, and
01:04: every Way has its own small Emergency Ward.
01:09: Basic paramedicine, healthcare,; and simple nursing skills training are
01:14: compulsory Community Service.
01:18: If you find yourself unexpectedly in need; of urgent medical attention,
01:22: your fellow colonists can provide first aid; until a paramedic arrives.
01:29: We work quite hard to keep ourselves *out*; of hospital: don't be surprised if
01:35: this morning's lollipop-lady is; operating on you this afternoon.
